At NextBatteries.com, we are committed to fast, reliable delivery and excellent customer support. This Shipping Policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Shipping Options

We ship via trusted carriers including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Some orders may be fulfilled by third-party suppliers.

Free Shipping: Available on all orders over $199.00 (Standard Ground Shipping).

2. Shipping Rates

Orders under $199.00: Flat rate of $9.50 via USPS Standard. Upgrade options available at checkout:

  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • USPS Priority
  • UPS or FedEx Ground

Note: A handling time of 2–7 business days applies before shipping due to battery safety requirements (Hazmat regulations).

3. Shipping Timeframes

Orders ship within 2–7 business days from Hayward, CA or Milton, DE. U.S. delivery takes 4–16 business days.

If delayed, you will be notified. You may cancel within 14 business days for a full refund.

4. Address Accuracy & Return Shipments

Please double-check your shipping address. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect addresses.

Returns resulting from incorrect addresses will be refunded minus shipping charges. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

5. Tracking & Delivery Issues

Hazmat Tracking Delays: Li-ion batteries may be delayed due to inspections (3–4 business days).

UPS/FedEx/DHL: Tracking activates within 48 hours.

USPS: Tracking may take 2–4 days to update, especially for Hazmat items.

Missing Package: If marked "Delivered" but not received, please contact USPS for assistance.

6. Stolen or Lost Packages

Once a package is marked as delivered, we are not responsible for items lost or stolen after that point.

To protect your order, we highly recommend adding Shipping Protection at checkout.

7. Order Cancellations

To cancel your order, email support@nextbatteries.com.

If the order hasn’t shipped, we will cancel it immediately. If it has already shipped, you may return it per our Return Policy.

8. Payment Timing

At NextBatteries, your card is authorized at checkout and charged immediately for all orders. As a small business, this process allows us to manage inventory efficiently and ensure prompt fulfillment.

For bulk or special orders, payment is charged upon confirmation. Many products require special sourcing or handling, and advance payment prevents delays.

If you have concerns, please contact our support team—cancellations before shipment are fully refundable.

9. International Shipping

We ship to select countries, including Canada via UPS Standard Ground. Customs, duties, and brokerage fees are the buyer’s responsibility.

Once tracking is issued, we are not liable for lost or delayed shipments. Some regions (such as Australia) may experience longer delivery times.

All communication must be in English to avoid miscommunication.

10. Battery Shipping Guidelines

Li-ion and Li-Polymer batteries ship via ground only (no Hazmat fees). No air or expedited shipping is available for these items.

Alaska and Hawaii orders are shipped via USPS Priority only.

11. Local Pickup

Local pickup is not available at this time.

12. Sales Tax

Sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to MN, MD, IN, NJ, MI, VA, GA, OH, IL, NC, and CA unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided.
